On October 2nd at 4 pm we will have a very special and unique Eucharistic celebration. As the day includes our commemoration of the 13th century monastic/ecologist St. Francis, this service will feature unique music, soundscapes, and hymns, inspired by those we share this planet with. Our Music Director Paul Halley, in his description for this service notes: “The music of the “Earth Mass” features two choirs with soloists, and an ensemble of instruments comprising soprano sax, oboe, English horn, cello, drums and world percussion, guitar, bass, piano and organ. Although it is now 41 years old, the “Earth Mass” has, if anything, gained in relevance and power to transform.
Please Note; this beautifully unique service is a Eucharist, not a concert event, and so to ensure seating, and to enable us to provide the elements for Communion we ask that you pre-register here using Eventbrite.
We are limited to 300 seats.
